If you wish to improve, be content to appear clueless or stupid in extraneous matters – don’t wish to seem knowledgeable. And if some regard you as important, distrust yourself.”
– Epictetus, Enchiridion, 132
One of the most powerful things you can do as an innovator (and human being) in our hyperconnected, 24/7 media world is say: “I don’t know.”
Don’t get caught up in the enormous “waterhose of information”: emails, instagram, slack, facebook, zoom, teams, skype, reuters, twitter, linkedin, what’s app, telegram… it is insane to keep track. So don’t try.
The world don’t need more information, but it needs the right questions.
So stay curious, ask questions, be surprised…
Stoic Innovator is based on the beautiful book Daily Stoic by Ryan Holiday.
